Wolfloyee vs Windmill: a monthly pulse or a performance platform
Both products live in Slack and both can ask your team how things are going. Windmill is a performance management platform with an AI agent, Windy, that runs reviews, 1:1 prep, feedback, and pulse surveys. Wolfloyee Team Harmony does one thing: the same three anonymous questions once a month, with one harmony score. The right pick depends on whether you are buying a performance system or a monthly signal.
What Windmill is
Windmill covers performance reviews, 1:1s, continuous feedback, onboarding, calibrations, offboarding, and pulse surveys. Its AI agent, Windy, talks to people in Slack. Pulses can go out once or on a schedule, as a Slack conversation or a web form, with the questions you write. In late September 2026 Windmill added full engagement surveys to its pulse product.
Anonymity is a choice per pulse. An anonymous pulse needs at least three participants, and the setting cannot be changed after creation. Named pulses let owners and, depending on sharing settings, managers see individual responses. Windmill lists the first 10 users as free, then $10 per user per month.
What Wolfloyee Team Harmony is
Wolfloyee Team Harmony asks three questions in a private Slack DM: skills, collaboration, and impact. Each person needs about a minute and answers with buttons, or from a personal email link. Every pulse is anonymous. Scores stay hidden until at least three people answer, and individual ratings are never shown with names. The questions never change, so this month compares cleanly with last month.
Free during beta. After beta: $1 per employee / month, billed at month end (10 people → $10). No annual plan. A workspace admin can Add to Slack and send the first pulse the same day.
Side-by-side differences that matter
Scope. Windmill is a performance system: reviews, calibrations, 1:1s, and pulses. Wolfloyee is a monthly team-harmony pulse. It does not run performance reviews.
Questions. Windmill pulses use questions you write and schedule. Wolfloyee uses the same three ratings every month, so there is nothing to design and the trend line stays comparable.
Delivery. Windmill's Windy holds a conversation in Slack or sends a web form. Wolfloyee sends a short DM with buttons. No agent, no back-and-forth.
Anonymity. In Windmill, anonymous is an option you pick per pulse. In Wolfloyee every pulse is anonymous and scores are locked below three answers.
Price. Up to 10 people, both are free today. At 30 people, Windmill's listed price is about $200 per month (20 paid users × $10). Wolfloyee is free during beta and $30 per month after it.
When to choose Windmill
Choose Windmill when you want performance reviews, calibrations, and 1:1 prep in one tool, you like the idea of an AI agent collecting feedback in conversation, or you need custom pulse questions on your own schedule.
When to choose Wolfloyee Team Harmony
Choose Wolfloyee when you already have a way to run reviews and only need an early monthly signal, you want the same three questions every month without building surveys, every answer must be anonymous by default, or price per head matters at 20 to 80 people. If that sounds like your team, Add to Slack and run one cycle. For the question wording, see the Pulse guide.
